For pressure cooker parts you will first need to know the brand of your pressure cooker.
The brand name of your pressure cooker should be on your canning unit somewhere, the handle or the bottom is the most common place to find the brand name.
Once you have your brand name visit: http://www.pressurecooker-outlet.com/parts.htm and click on the brand of your cooker that you need parts for.
If you have a pressure cooker/canner that is NOT an All American, Chef's Design, or Maitre's you will now need your model number.
How to find your model number:
Maid of Honor: Model numbers are usually on the product in a visible
location. Look for an aluminum, silver, or white tag that has
a number stamped into it. Use that number when searching for parts
by model number.
Mirro: Model numbers are found on the bottom of the pressure cooker/canner.
Presto: If you have a newer model you can usually find your model number
on the bottom of the pressure cooker or canner body. It may also be
etched into the pot beneath the body handle. If it's a very old model,
the number can probably be found on a label attached to the top of
the cover. Old units have model numbers like 40, 50, 204, 603, etc.
Sears: Model numbers are usually on the product in a visible
location. Look for an aluminum, silver, or white tag that has
a number stamped into it. Use that number when searching for parts
by model number.
Now that you know your model number, locate it on the pressure cooker parts by model number list for your pressure cooker brand.
From there, you will be brought to a page of available parts for your pressure cooker. Add the parts you need to cart and begin the checkout process.
