Topping & Batter Ideas for Waffles

Waffles have many various topping options, we are going to discuss 10 that we thought were fairly unique to share with our readers. But for now, let's get out those waffle makers and experiment a bit, but keep in mind that some of these toppings may require a little bit different waffle mix than the standard:

Top your waffles with shredded ham and cheese for a complete one dish breakfast.

 Banana slices, walnuts, and your choice of syrup makes for a sweet breakfast treat.

Like fruit salad? Add some fruit and whipped topping for a breakfast that is delicious.

Create a waffle that is as flavorful as your favorite pizza crust by adding seasoning to your waffle mix. The use pizza sauce to dip them in.

There's always fried chicken and waffles. Try a sweet potato waffle for a different flavor boost.

Smother your waffle with crushed bacon, shredded cheese, butter and syrup for an all-in-one breakfast dish.
