Wedding Gift Ideas for the Kitchen

Summer is the time for weddings. And with weddings comes wedding gifts. Some couples register at particular places, and others, wanting to be surprised, allow their guests to choose. So what would make a good wedding gift? We've got some ideas for the kitchen to get you started:

Starting with the top left corner and going clockwise:
  1. Canisters - these are great for any kitchen and a newlywed couple with a new home will find these will come in hand for storing dry goods such as sugar, flour, dry beans, etc.
  2. Electric Griddle - great for any couple, these are quick and easy to use. And easy to clean up. Great for summer months when you don't want to heat up the stove or just great for a quick meal.
  3. Wire Basket - helps to keep counters clutter free by holding fruit, veggies, onions, or potatoes; also adds a little touch of modern decor with a stainless steel look.
  4. Rada Cutlery - give a knife set that is made to last. These knives are made in the USA and carry a lifetime warranty.
  5. Slow Cooker - these are great for busy couples, the meal cooks all day and is ready when they get home from work.
  6. Compost Keeper - know a couple that is interested in starting gardening? Help them get started on their compost pile with a compost keeper. This little guy holds all kitchen scraps until they are ready to be carried out to the compost pile.
  7. Retro Salt & Pepper Shakers - for a couple who loves vintage decor, these salt and pepper shakers would make a lovely addition to their kitchen or dining room.
  8. Cookware - if the couple is furnishing a new home, cookware is a very handy thing, whether you are able to afford a set, or just a few pieces, this is an item that will be needed and will be used.
  9. Keurig Coffee Maker - These coffee makers are great not just for coffee, but also for tea, or just if a cup of hot water is needed. They are single cup brewers, so no coffee pots need to be cleaned, and if only one person in the relationship is a coffee drinker, they will appreciate being able to fix just one cup at a time.
  10. Drink keg - great item for a couple who likes to entertain. This drink keg can be used for many different types of drinks and the couple will appreciate the ability of the guests to self serve easily.
What was your favorite kitchen wedding gift that you have given or received?
